Air Guitar Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon

Maybe you're not supposed to drink your own wine. I don't know. But I made this in homage to the wines that got me into this business and I want to drink it. So... sorry if this out of bounds but it's what I'm drinking.

Get crushed out on this non-conformist blend from Portlander @Scott Frank. Bordelaise in blend, but much more Loiresque in style, the Cab Sauv gives great #structure and depth and the Cab Franc a bright lift and a touch of earthy #funk for oh so easy drinking.

Now & Aarow's Cabernet expression - Franc and Sauvignon - that's dense, packed, dark berry fruit and lightened by a mineral core.

Wow. Super funky on the nose and first sip and then is gets soft and finishes fast.

50 Cab Sauv 50 Cab Franc from Willamette. Dark fruit but lifted aromatics and acidity with a core of minerality. Really tasty stuff.

A 50/50 blend of cab franc & cab sauv from single vineyards. Fresh and snappy on the palate (bistro wine style) and perfect match for roasted chicken dinner.

Opening USA for thanksgiving. This is alright.. Aiming for a Loire style red- and they're close. Bright & crunchy. Little astringent.

A very enjoyable drop with earthy black fruit, beetroot, black pepper, fresh & inviting. Palate shows plenty of vibrant black & blue berry fruit, savoury but not too stalky streaked through with loads of juicy acidity, lots to like!
