There is always something a bit confected/fudgey for me in serious Washington state reds, and this is no different. Cherry cola, chocolate on the nose and while finely ethhed tannins exist, the structure of acid fails a bit leaving a slightly gloppy feel. Maybe age, maybe the region/era?
It was interesting to taste older wine from serious vineyards.

Really don't know what to think. Is it an off bottle?....unique flavor profile?........has it gone bad?.....I have no idea. Tastes flawed but can't pin point why. Wreaks of smoky plum and finishes with apple skins. Disjointed and just plain out weird.
