This is stunning. Dazzling precision and lift. A Monty bright bright nose. Lovely definition and acidity. Beautiful midpalate and length. All round a perfectly poised and delicious white.

Fully mature and in its decline. Caramel, butterscotch, but still alive.

what white Burgundy should be and so often is not--really a Montrachet more than a Chevy, it is less mineral than Chevy. Powerful and deep, still young, almost profound. The balance and length are stunning--citrus zest, green apple, white flowers, a little mint, layered and lovely. The acidity gives it great lift. Great Burgundy.
