Rich and deep nose of black and blue fruit tinged with some potting soil.
In the mouth youthful but lumbering fruit flavors. Good structure but needs to gain some finesse. If this was a boxer I would describe him as a puncher that needs to improve his foot work.

This was a really good burgundy. Grand cru might pay higher taxes but it's justified most of the time this being no exception. Wonderful soft cherry fruit underpinned with pine dominate this effort. Yum.
