Barely ripe dark cherry and strawberry aromas, along with beetroot and vanilla. On palate, cooked/dried red & black fruit and cola currently dominated by oak that has yet to resolve, scorched tarry earth. Leafy. Revisit in three years or so...seems like it's in that intermediate phase Pinot goes through.
