Here's a snapshot of the 2012 1er Cru & Grand Cru wines I tasted: Reds: Les Lavieres- Stoney notes w/ light body; Clos de la Mousse, more body & definition w/ heady violet & orange blossom; Caillerets Ancienne Cuvee Carnot, deeper concentration, red stewed fruit; Le Corton, still needs time to show weight, but already expressing interesting ashy smoke note; Whites: Clos St. Landry, earthy, cooked peaches; Corton Charlemagne, strong minerality, lean palate; Chevalier-Montrachet, exotic spice with mango notes
