I'm not getting anything that's described on the back label. Green and earthy, but the aromas are reminiscent of weeding dandelions in the garden. The initial attack is a bit angular with graphite, smoke, and black pepper with an assertive background of red fruits and green olives. Firm tannins with an austere finish that leaves a lingering almost metallic taste. Open the day before serving so it mellows and most of the unpleasant tastes all but disappear.
