Nebbiolo may be my true love! The more I have the more in love I find myself. Beautiful mint, plum, and leather aromas.

Very enjoyable, modern style, but at age 14 beautifully integrated, spicy and dense. Well made and in no rush to drink. From magnum.

Prune, dark raspberry, tobacco, dried raisins. Brick colored, give this 2003 time to open. Still has supple tannins.

(Just getting into barolos), 2001, I sipped it right after opening, it's tight and I'm going to give a couple hours, but the first sip gave me the shivers, I'm just getting into these, but the potential from that first sip was really intense and complicated. (2hr later), it gets better and better, a rich juicy mouthfeel laced with explorative tannins and nip hints of pepper and subtle raspberry, a moderate sourness that oozes through, gourmet high end olives with a wet finish that lingers and get warm after a few minutes, the balance is outrageous

Dried leaves, mushrooms, tea, sweet spices. Medium plus body, high tannins and acidity. Medium plus finish. Tiny hints of cherry and strawberries, but most of the fruit is gone. Def a food wine and it needs some salt and acid to balance out the tannins. A fun journey back to 2001.
