RLF Paso Robles Red Blend

Really good fruit that will evolve favorably over the next 5 years, but let's face it; it's a 2012 and I'm thirsty now.

Thanks @Zack Geers for sharing this wine. Very silky and elegant, beautiful aromatics of both ripe red and dark fruit as well as floral characteristics, concentrated complex flavor but not a ton of grip, couldn't drink enough of this wine. (And yes we are playing catan)

A wow. Very nice nose and the Grenache really gives a nice balance.

Unmitigated jam bomber with extra raspberry essence.

2.5 hour decant. Wonderful aromatics. Olive tapenade, graphite, herbs. Blackberry cobbler. A bit jammier on the palate than I remember. 3-5 years left in it.

Young. A little light for my taste but generally pleasant. Still acidic.

Big and rich, but restrained in a way too. This isn't a huge fruit bomb at 13.7%. Pretty smooth tannins, still big and present, but they're silkier than I was expecting. Raspberry, strawberry, cherry, subtle smoke, hint of vanilla?, tasty! See, I like purple drank :)

Don't know this wine? Worth finding. Grenache blend that springs bright black rasberry, licorice, mild oak, hint of caramel, but it's all about the finish, layered, complex, and lingering for a good minute. I need to buy more.

Fruity, and deeeeelicious!
