California Merlot

Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits and herb spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with vanilla spice, cacao and herb notes. Firm tannins, medium finish ending with earthy spice character. Drink now, no aging benefit.

I used this for a mulled wine, which worked well. I thought it was a decent merlot for the price point

Smooth. Needed to breathe. Smooth. More tannins than the others we had tonight. At Teri’s house. March 6, 2024 after cj came home from Florida. Cj brought this one. Organic grapes.

Soft with black cherry flavors

Still has that classic pretty label. Dark red, purple. Aroma is pretty basic. Old paper and fruits. Flavors are also pretty basic. Has a vanilla/caramel streak but it’s restrained. Mostly balanced nice fruit and a hint of herbs. This is a great every night or party wine.

Very dry. Tongue is stuck to the roof of my mouth! Not for me.
