Bonotto delle Tezze
Malanotte del Piave Raboso

A bit too much oak. Slightly sweet, vanillin finish. The underlying material seems excellent though.

Piave is right next to Valpolicella, a new DOCG since 2010. Uses some dried grapes and has the alc levels and dark fruit profiles of Valpo ripasso. Like valpolicella, this wine has a strong grape leafy dill thing happening. Like Valpo, it's hard to drink more than one glass.
