Pluribus Napa Valley Red Wine
About as good as it gets....but I still think it will get better!

Dec 25th, 2015This resembles a Pauillac more than a Napa cab sav. The nose is currant berries, truffles, soy sauce and chard cedar wood. Palate has black cherry and smokey tobacco notes with a long smoke filled finish with burn ember notes

Jan 30th, 2015I was lucky enough today to try 2 vintages of this lovely wine. The 2006 and 2010. The 2006 is just coming into its own. Still a lot of oak on the palate with some bigger tannins and a finish for days. 2010 is still tight, but after being open all day it emerged from its shell a bit. I'm having the last glass from the bottle now, and it has taken on the character of a wine from Piedmont. Earthy, maybe even a little barnyard funk, dried cranberry. So thankful the host of this party I catered not only let me try it, but gave me the remainder to take home. Happy Thanksgiving!

Nov 28th, 2014Big and bold. Huge. Opened up in the glass after decanting but needs to age. Will be a blockbuster in 5-10 years. One for the cellar.
