Quite tight still, dense tar, coffee grounds, smoke, deep blue fruit. Spring Mountain fruit matures slowly. I think this needs at least 5 more years in the bottle. Still a very nice wine though.

En mag. Bruiser. Opened up slowly but really showed well as time passed. Damp earth, Zapatero violets and an opulent blue and black fruit waterfall 😉 of flavors.

Just hitting its stride. I'm so happy I have more of this powerful balanced blend.

Wine of the Night for me. Up against an absolute onslaught of names. Levy and McClellan, harlan, DoNa, El Nido, Bryant, and on and on. Maximum delicious, tannins have softened after a decade, simply sublime.

Dark fruits - blueberry - seamlessly integrated with tannins. Will get better with age.

A bit sleepy, but very nicely balanced, smooth velvety texture, intense blueberries, and a hint of smoke.
