7acres, 1300ft. Spring Mountain. Cold Vintage. This wine is amazing. Wish I had some self control and waited but still holding 2 other vineyards. 8 years in, this wine is a baby. Going to be good for a lifetime. I need some more 11’s in my life.

En mag from @David L and after a crumbly cork incident this just blossomed like a gorgeous Spring Mountain flower. Dense chocolate covered blue, purple and black fruit, crushed volcanic rock and blueberry smoke.

@Benjamin Keator had his hosting at the CC tonight and it was absolutely incredible. What a night of gorgeous wines! All wines are guessed blind.

5 reds tonight. 5 Bonds. Insane. I’m not going to try and evaluate each one as if they were crazy different because honestly, I found it fairly easy to determine all were from the same producer. That being said, I guessed all 5 reds were from the same producer and waffled between a horizontal or vertical...I ultimately chose vertical (which was wrong). I guessed all were Napa cabs. This was the first Bond that I got some mint with, as in Andes mint. Dark chocolate with a fresh and mint leaf core. The fruit here tasted so young, so much so that I thought this was a ‘12 out of a vertical. Mainly black fruit with a touch of cassis and blue fruit starting to show. Big potential.

The 2014 Pluribus is stellar. Once again, I am deeply impressed with the Pluribus. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, mint, plum and licorice infuse this super-expressive, resonant Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Pluribus is the most improved Bond wine. This flight of 2014 makes that quite evident. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2018)

Beautiful wine with the amazing dinner at TFL. Thought you’d get a kick of our group picture in their wine cellar too.

Quite tight still, dense tar, coffee grounds, smoke, deep blue fruit. Spring Mountain fruit matures slowly. I think this needs at least 5 more years in the bottle. Still a very nice wine though.

It's not as good as the harlan but this behemoth is pleasing like riding a monster truck thru the mud after a boozy tequila shot

En mag. Bruiser. Opened up slowly but really showed well as time passed. Damp earth, Zapatero violets and an opulent blue and black fruit waterfall 😉 of flavors.
