Rich wet earth, chocolate and graphite. Very full and rich but smooth and 100% in it's prime drinking window. So good with Beef Wellington.

Dec 25th, 201502' Dark black & ruby red in color. 30 minutes in the glass it opened. Black licorice, cinnamon spice. Long finish. You could set this down for a couple of years...I don't know why you would.

Oct 1st, 2016Hard to believe this is 14 years old. The fruit is still so pronounced and primal and the tannins integrated yet still providing solid grip. Absolutely perfect with dry aged ribeye and stuffed mushrooms.

Matriarch with the Patriarch. This is getting smoother with richer herbs and deeper fruit as it sits.
