Side by side with a Krug Brut vintage 1995 it didn’t stand a chance. A bit advanced, gold in color, still a good amount of mousse and quite savory. But at 34 years old a pleasant drink

Pretty much what I expect from aged champs on lees. Lots o autolysis, mushroom n some cellar. Little mineral n yellow apple. Not at peak yet still bery tasty. Didn’t win from a day in fridge...
