medium reddish purple, translucent core, amber rim; red cherry, raspberry, mushrooms, pine needles; red fruit, slightly spicy finish; medium body, good acidity, light tannins which are fine grained, 13.5% ABV; made from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from vineyard Kurt Beiler planted rootstock in 2004 and grafted 2006 with multiple clones, site is in both the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley AVA’s and is the warmest of his 3 vineyard sites; about 30% whole clusters were used, aged 18 months in 20% new French oak; $55

The best pairing in California is the pacific and a Sonoma coast Pinot.
There not a better place or better food or better combination of any sort than this. Pair wine with places to drink them. Food is a second thought , always a second thought to place and company kept.

Light bodied and feminine on the palate with impressive balance of red fruit tones, acid, tannin, and alcohol. Blend of multiple clones and plots spending 22 months in seasoned Burgundy barrels. $49.

Made from a barrel selection of four clones in the vineyard: Dijon 115 & 667, Vosne-Romanée, and Calera aged 21 months in neutral French oak.
