Nose is pretty. Floral, soppy cherries, spice. Pretty but also a bit disjointed. Palate is hot, out of sorts but has good sweet fruit yet a hot finish. Blocky tannins. Messy finish. Alcoholic. Drying. Bette than Ovello 2017.

What a nose, and then the taste! God I love Barbaresco. Very approachable, completely ready to drink. A house I know quite well and I can say this 2012 is remarkably good. Very good QPR!
