Not as powerful, but more complex than the 2010. 2007 is supposedly an inferior year, but what a difference bottle age can make. Primary dark fruit quickly gave away to tobacco, wild mushroom, fig, and pine cone. Savory palate with balsamic and sweet spice. Lovely acidity. Decant for 1 hours before serving.
