Not ready by any stretch, but already enjoyable. Tight, but fantastic structure and fine tannins.

Modern, rich and dark. Granular tannic structure and some wet earth. Needs time.

Not in the best place right now, I have had quite a few 8-12 years of age and they start to get really into around that age. For a youngster this just seemed off its mark.

2011 vintage, Vega Sicilia portfolio tasting, Berry Bros. & Rudd, St James's. Elegant, fresh with dark fruits and a floral lift. A touch of wood/vanilla. Fresh and tight on the palate. Fine and grippy tannins. Some sweet black fruits, spices. A bit tight (still) but will develop well over the next 3 years and beyond. Medium bodied.
