Mon cheri, coffee, kielbasa, blueberry jam, overripe black plum, masa, leather, tobacco, fermented musty grape skin & seed, grippy rough tannin. Needs food (and another 10 years..). Mightve called new world on this blind. 15%. Full body, m+ acid, long finish.

Velvety smooth. Full bodied. Tasted even smoother the second night, after vacuum sealing and storing in the refrigerator. Gave it two hours to breathe and warm to near room temp. Delicious.

Big, super ripe dark cherry. Very, very oakey, like licking a barrel. Earthy with a ton of heat.

Jul 22nd, 2015Not bad--a full bodied, dry red wine. I let it breathe in a decanter for 90 minutes. My litmus test is how does it compare to a very good $11 bottle of Malbec. In this case, it was about the same. So, good, yes. Glad I only paid $20 for the bottle.

Good black fruit, great mid palate med to full body with good length and fine tannins. Like a lot. 93
