I usually have great luck w/Manchuela but this was disappointing. Electric ruby, transparent w/wild strawberry, raspberry and spice on the nose mingled w/greenery, herbaceousness & medicinal. All of that was fine, but there was such tangy acidity it was basically VA. Light bodied and unbalanced, great flavors, but flawed winemaking.

Jul 28th, 2022Bobal and Mencia are two of my favorite Spanish varietals. Tart strawberry, raspberry, red cherry with a little wet dirt and garrigue. Light and easy drinking. Excellent summer red.
