This big boy of the tasting. Takes first place. A beautiful blend of Tempranillo, Malbec and Merlot.

Hadn’t had this one in years but glad to see it again! It was hitting on all cylinders ... black as ink the Tempranillo was strutting with spice and leather. Fun to be back in Mendoza!

Overwhelming oaky, not my stile at all, taste like a modern Rivera del Duero.

Great value. 60/30/10 tempranillo/malbec/cabernet from Argentina. Much more like a left bank Bordeaux than a rioja. Still a big wine. One bottle left. If I can avoid drinking it, I'll enjoy seeing where this will be in a few years.

Licorice root, Damson plum, soft dry tannins, well integrated oak. Fantastic wine.

2008 год. Аргентина. Замечательное зрелое , полнотелое вино с фруктовым ароматом и нотками сушенных фруктов Длительное приятное послевкусие. Рекомендую.

[60% Temp, 25% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Sauv] bright, eye opening aromas, you can literally feel the temranillo on the nose. Rich tannins melt into the peppery finish. 9 years and aging beautifully!

I really like this wine. It's a great value. It's not what you expect. It's from Argentina, but it's mostly tempranillo (~60%) not malbec (~30%). It doesn't taste like a rioja (or a malbec for that matter) but like a left bank Bordeaux (the remainder is cabernet sauvignon). Dense mouth feel, still very big, tannic but approachable. This could go another 5-10 years.
