Moderately high acidity, mixed berries, ginger, tobacco. Soft tannins and oak that carries over onto tge long finish. Nice match with a ribeye, watercress puree, and pickled vegetables. — 8 years ago
Licorice root, Damson plum, soft dry tannins, well integrated oak. Fantastic wine. — 8 years ago
One of my favorite Malbecs, great fruit and spice, complex, lightly earthy, long finish. Paired up with Szechuan dinner feast, a gem. — 8 years ago
Not surprisingly, with a kitchen sink blend of 12 red and white grapes, this basic table wine is a little difficult to pigeonhole. Mixed fruits, spices, and a touch of oak. Easy drinking, it's kind of our take-out Chinese food wine, interesting enough, but nothing to write home about. — 8 years ago
Vibrant fruit, grapefruit peel, bell pepper, great acidity. Beautiful match with roasted pepper soup . — 8 years ago
Surprising, for what's basically a cheap supermarket wine, this is pretty decent. Classic Cabernet flavors, easy drinking, quaffing wine. — 8 years ago
Mixed fruits, graphite, green leaf and herbs, intense peppery spice on the finish. With broiled ribeye and spicy mac n cheese — 8 years ago
Mixed berries - blue, rasp, and black. Slightly jammy. Notes of leather and light oak. Touch of cinnamon. Great red with Szechuan spiced pork chops. — 8 years ago
Stewed plums, spice, almost has the essence of a mulled wine. A little odd for the Rodas line, most are much fresher fruit flavors. Almost seems a little past its prime. — 8 years ago
