Dry, flavors a little flat. Not much of a flavor profile. Dark and tight.

Another gem at 15+ tears of age. Very well-made Rioja.

For a Grenache heavy wine it’s surprisingly light and fruity. Very little of the spicy or herb overtones. Growing in some heat, but not too jammy but really expresses bright fruit. Low to no acid or tannins but a great drinker. Very nice to have such a light wine with such ripeness.

This drank fine, but not much depth. I wonder if it is too aged. Required decanting, too, and still not great.

After taking an initial sip, I was extremely disappointed. However, I decanted and let it sit for a good two hours and OMG, what a difference! in my haste to enjoy this great wine, I neglected to take into account that it has been bottled for nearly 10 yrs, so be patient! The reward is well worth it!
