Syrah
A wine from Bolivia? Had to try it.
Nose is very soft, silky raspberry shrub like.
Not as heavy as your typical Syrah, this comes in at a medium, with loads of tart blueberry, the smallest hint of residual sugar, a touch of licorice, a touch of menthol, abundant saline.
Very soft, yet more revealing the more you drink.

Deep ruby; medium intensity aromas of red fruit, cherry, red plum, purple flowers, potpourri, peaches, savory smoke and vanilla; dry, medium acid, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavors consistent with aromas; complex, moderately concentrated, well balanced, good

Dec 13th, 2019Almost an interesting wine. Has notes of raspberry, cassis, oak, vanilla, and a hint of smoke. But very little volume or life. Low acidity. Could be so much more but does have a decent base.
