This is a delicious Tempranillo from Ribera Del Duero in Spain. Elegant and rich. Fruit forward and nicely balanced.
Starting to drink beautifully now, and needs a couple of hours to open up properly, so be patient.

This 5 year old Tempranillo is already complex, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

I get a lot of Bordeaux vibes from this tinto. Medium bodied, medium acids. Cherry, cassis and balsamic. It’s more restrained than I was expecting it to be, but still packs a complex punch when brooded upon.

On the palate flavors of juicy ripe blackberry currants, blueberry & plum with mocha, espresso and licorice wrapped in oak. Firm round taut tannins, great balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with fruit, oak, spice, and mineral character. Almost starting to open, definitely needs more time! Will age a decade or more!!
