Tempranillo is a crap shoot. I could get some beautiful earth and soil, or I can get stuck with over-oaked new world thickness. Luckily this is the former. Pepper, spice and everything nice. A medicinal cherry quality in the mid palette I'm not crazy about.

Had this a few months back. Powerful intense, dark as pitch. Problem is I tried after a few bottles of other wines had been opened. Love to try again on a first bottle opened at home basis. A whopping 15.5%

Les minéraux sont présents, la cerise "griotte" et un goût d'encre... Bref un tempranillo avec du caractère et une belle complexité. Gagnera beaucoup avec les années!

Tempranillo with better than average personality. Appealing nose, first fruit not overwhelming but balanced and clean. Smooth finish with a mineral touch. Good effort overall for the price.

2013. Beautiful embossed label. Very dark purple color. Ripe luscious aroma of dark woods that makes me salivate. A light tart initial taste with a distinct tannin dryness that blooms into a long strong finish of oak. This wine definitely grew on me as I drank more of it. It will probably age well.
