Purple red. Cherry and plum notes with great length in mouth, slight black olive note as well in nose and mouth, moderate astringency and bitterness in finish. Needs aeration for tannins to soften. A tad too much oak for me but good value if you can decant it for an hour or two.

Quite stunning right out of the bottle. I've had tons of 100% Tempranillo wines from thus region in the past and this is by far THE BEST for the price.

stop it! Organic old-vine Tempranillo for this price?! And a Ribero del Duero wine for under 20? Somebody musta mispriced this one -snatch it up if you see it !

Rustic. Notes of black cherry, coriander, earth and dried violets. Plenty of grippy, earth-laden fore to mid-palate tannins with some pepper in the finale. Medium body and finish.

Not bad, but not impressive after the Dehesa. Less spicy, less interesting. It’s not this decent little wine’s fault that we had the better one first.
