Deep ruby color; black cherries, graphite, baking spices, and figs on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like black cherries, cedar, tabacco, crushed gravel, and dill with a long finish. Intense. Needs to decant for at least an hour. It's really good if you like bold, tannic red wines.

Deep ruby color; black cherries, tabacco, and dried figs on the nose; high acidity, medium plus tannins; tastes like sour cherries, wood smoke, and wet gravel with a long peppery finish. Nellie doesn't like it. It has really intense flavors, and I'm loving it.

Lovely Spanish Tinto del Toro with a purple colour and strong fruit and hint of oak on the nose. Lots of bramble, dark fruits and smidgeon of chocolate giving this a bold and smooth wine with a subtle sweetness.

I have seen comments on this being an unsophisticated or simple wine, and not being a expert that may be true, but I thoroughly enjoyed this paired with Chicken pesto pasta and a tomato and beetroot salad.

Toro wine from Spain is always good. This is a common but nice wine from the region priced right. Fruity and fleshy with a backbone. Good wine with Cuban ropa vieja. Enjoy!

Tasty. Deep and intense. A vanilla, a leather, some red fruit. The finish is long. Great with jamón serrano (Spanish ham) and Spanish olives in paprika.
