Rioja Garnacha

Grenache, my love.
Floral, exotic & aromatic with ripe raspberries & blackberries, wet clay, some orange petal / blood orange and red pepper and a graphite whiff. On the palate this is full of spicy red fruit yet dry, with juicy, firm (slightly rustic) tannins and bright acidity. Highly drinkable, fun and just delicious. Carries the 15% alc effortlessly and unnoticeably.
From 90y old vines.

Smooth, fruity (strawberries) and dry; chocalate chip cookie in the end. Very good with veggie pumpkin meal from the oven.

Nice bit restained Garnacha fron Rioja. This classic producer really shines with these affordable bottles in it's range. Great dark fruits, good concentration without being heavy. Great food wine

First wine at Rare on Shauny's birthday. First time having a Grenache from Rioja. This was dry but smooth, almost chocolately. It probably would have gone really well with the steak, but it was gone by then.

Med-full body. Dry. Would have again

Had this with some spicy pork chops. Went great with it. Just ok on its own.

Excellent value at $24. Big, bold and smooth.
