Particular Old Vine Garnacha

Third time having this wine. Tasted this over a few days. Had this with pizza from the Killer Tomato Pizza Truck. Color was ruby red. Nose was slightly savory, a little bit of red fruit and starch. On day one the palate was tart as soon as it hit my tongue and then dissipated into strawberries and a slight minerality. On day three it became fruit forward, very drinkable and light. Moderate tannins (5/10) with a light body. Light acidic finish that dries out my mouth. Carries on through mid palate. Very good QPR.

Big, ripe boy. Worked almost like a dessert wine for us. Pleasant for sure.

Ripe, black fruit profile. Dense but silky, moderate soft tannins, no oak, sponty,

375 mL. Convenient to have a few of those around.

Deep ruby red with light cherry accents. Strong nose of Mediterranean spices, tart cherries, and raspberries. Full bodied with amazing ripeness, this baby is tart and savory upon opening. After giving it some time, the fruit starts to shine. The leather and smoke take a back seat to black cherries, strawberries, and more raspberries. Hints of coffee and spice on the back end.

Turns out half bottles aren't enough. Cute though.

375 mL bottle. Handy when you don't want too much.

Pretty darn good for the tariff. From 375, makes a nice holiday stocking stuffer.
