Las Rocas Calatayud Garnacha

This 100% garnacha offers exceptional value for its cost. Intense aroma of strawberry and black cherry with full body and intense red and black fruit flavors. More than 15% abv but it barely shows on the palate. Not complex but this would be a hit at any BBQ

Mild, with medium/high acidity. Citrus + pepper. Medium body

Nicely fruity for a garnacha.

Pretty tasty and well priced Garnacha.

Raspberries and pepper on the nose. Lingering ripe red fruit, high tannin aftertaste.

Forgettable.

For a cheapy with a shitty cork not too shabby.

Much too tart

Nice zesty mouth at the onset, not too dry, slightly jammy and sweet.

Med bodied, cherry compote, licorice, earthy spice, charred fruit, med tannin and med acid.
