Estate Bottled Killka Collection Valle de Uco Red Blend

Really nice, some substantial tannins still but nicely mellow and balanced. Cherry, cedar, old leather, some earthiness, a little roasted red pepper too, maybe. Nicely complex, but not too big.

Raspberries, cherries and cedar up front; pepper in the middle; and a moderately chalky but otherwise clean finish. A pleasant break from the homogeneity of Argentine Malbecs. A steal at $14.

Goes down way too easy for that abv

Opened by @momma_leslie several nights ago. I finally poured a glass for myself tonight. Deep maroon to purple. Full bodied with lots of tannin. Plums and dates dominate. Raisin finish is rich and deep. This one is a winner.

The nose is tannery mixed with tobacco earthiness. Dark fruit and developed tannins fill your mouth. Fantastic!
