Vintage 2015 | magnum | 86% Tempranillo 8% Garnacha and 6% Graciano | deep coloured, cherrie-chocolate smell, very concentrated and a lot of roundness, hint of spices, very well made. Paired with ribs and plums.

Singing. Nose of the deepest red cherries, iron ore, bay leaves, pink peppercorn, raisins, leather and the smell of the desert. Very suave palate— weightless yet substantial, sweet and tart in the right measures, with a resonant finish. Perfect marriage between modern and traditional rioja, perfect age on the bottle.

Fine mediterranean vintage. Red and dark red fruit driven (ripe cherries and strawberries), cinnamon, lavender and rosemary. Good acidity, complexity and length

A rich crimson in colour. Subdued dusty plummy notes. On the palate savoury plum with earthy notes - mellow and soft with totally resolved Tannins - medium plus to profound intensity - at its peak I haven’t had many aged Riojas but this was a beautiful wine. Delicious with teriyaki lamb at China Doll restaurant, Sydney.

Deep red color, milky, medium persistence, balsamic on smell. Well structured. Very easy to drink.

Chocolate. Leather. Cigar. Smoky. Tannins show up late and linger on the palette.

Roda Reserva 2010: meaty, leather, light vanilla. Sweet plum, strawberry, quite spicy. Fuller bodied, but with decent grip, chewy tannin, light on acid. Meaty, leather, notch of vanilla with oak, cedar and a faint hint of tobacco. Much more structure than normal. Has a faint hint of tradition with power, and intensity. 91
