Vintage 2015 | magnum | 86% Tempranillo 8% Garnacha and 6% Graciano | deep coloured, cherrie-chocolate smell, very concentrated and a lot of roundness, hint of spices, very well made. Paired with ribs and plums.

Singing. Nose of the deepest red cherries, iron ore, bay leaves, pink peppercorn, raisins, leather and the smell of the desert. Very suave palate— weightless yet substantial, sweet and tart in the right measures, with a resonant finish. Perfect marriage between modern and traditional rioja, perfect age on the bottle.

Feb 22nd, 2020A rich crimson in colour. Subdued dusty plummy notes. On the palate savoury plum with earthy notes - mellow and soft with totally resolved Tannins - medium plus to profound intensity - at its peak I haven’t had many aged Riojas but this was a beautiful wine. Delicious with teriyaki lamb at China Doll restaurant, Sydney.
