Solid Spanish wine, had with meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Black cherry, black raspberry, gripping tannins. Well balanced. Great value rioja.

Nice fruity, but balanced Crianza.

Good solid crianza from 2008. Heavy on the oak but still very young. A pleasant soft wine. Soft on the palate.

Kurt wine Good but really deep and dark with a lot of leather and Tabasco. Not my favorite flavors but hopefully will open and change. The more expensive reserve is better and more balanced with earthy tones.

Starts off with black cherries, followed by licorice, smoke, and pepper. Thicker tannins bring out the finish with a mild acidity.
