I love when a wine schools me. Opened my first bottle a few years back and thought, big on price and low on return.
It is clear after tasting the wine today, I was clueless and my initial assessment was way off. I clearly did not “get “ what this wine is all about. On the nose Chablis’esque with some reduction that eventually blew off. In my mouth, so much going on. Wonderful concentration and balance with a constant rotation of saline , stone fruit, apple and creaminess. All of this swaddled in vibrant acidity.

Äntligen! Bland top-3 bästa jag druckit från Spanien, definitivt bästa vita. Som en Montrachet, men till ett betydligt blygare pris. Har frukten, syran, ryggraden, texturen och krämigheten på rätt plats. Tack Rafael Palacios!

World class white from Spain, perhaps the best to leave the country yet... Combine the best aspects of Chard, Marsanne with a dash og Chenin and you get this.

1000% new oak, but there is lovely purity and focus here. Bright orchard fruits, slate elements, more than a little clove, well done (but infantile)
