Essentially a Bordeaux expression of Malbec. Cassis, dry blackberries. The mid palate is dry- not a bad thing, just wonder if this needs to be a Malbec.

Very jnteresting Malbec. I would have never pegged it for Argentine malbec but rather right bank Merlot or possibly even northern rhone syrah. Nose is very unique with some old school cellar funk, bacon fat, raspberry, dried sage, and other herbs. Palate is decadent and smooth but not overwhelmingly heavy. Blackberry jam and a whif of powdered cocoa. Really soft texture as it opens up and calms down. Nice bottle with relaxed tannins, definitely doesn't need any more time.

Great example of what malbec can be. Charcoal and dark choc on the nose. Dark brambly fruit and fresh herbals on the palate. Long finish Rich ripe tannin, full body. Sweet well integrated oak. Goes down easy, maybe too easy.

Initial smoke and rubber blew off and gave way to tar, mocha, and dark fruit.

Flawed Malbec. Definitely some Brett. Had a hard time getting around it

Very French in nose Malbec, old vine, concentred, mentholated, in mouth very complex, long on palate, very well blended oak, very fine different style of Malbec

More subtle touch than the average Argentine Malbec, tastes as much like a Bordeaux Malbec as a Mendozan one.

One of the most balanced wines I’ve ever tasted. Old leather and dried cocoa on the nose. Sweet tobacco, plum, and candy store chewy cherry candies followed by very decadent tannins. Bought two more bottles to hold.

Delightful Malbec. Medium light with berry finish. Definitely worth buying.
