What an excellent Rioja at a modest price. Intense red fruit followed by a licorice finish. This wine is smooth and elegant. It is drinking perfectly now.

Fantastic. Great balance. Notable traits of aging. Some cassis. Could fool me for a bx. Though labeled w 14.5%al, wasn’t overt. Nose of dark fruit. Some jam. But all in a well balanced package. Buy more.

Very earthy. Needed time in the decanter to open up. Leather and tobacco with spices. Tangy finish.
