Was looking for a pinot but this was found in cellar. Figured it would work with Easter ham and the half Italian heritage of my wife. Good enough.

Seems a bit "lighter" than I expected but still is nice. Also know it needs to breathe a bit more.

I had the 2009 a few days ago. This is a really elegant, delicious wine. An excellent example of a Rioja.
