This wine took a full three days to open up and be drinkable. The first day I could only have a taste. The second day I had 1/2 a glass. The third day we drained the bottle. My rating is based on day 3!

Solid wine, takes some time to unwind but shows some really nice dark fruit core surrounded by pronounced tannins. Could be a little more balanced and needs some complexity to the nose (looking for Earth driven elements). Entry level wine of the venerable Termanthia

Strong tobacco and dark chocolate notes, almost like a dark stout

Dry, decanted for about an hour to smooth it out. Ended up being quite good and drinkable. Would probably be awesome in a sangria. Although for the price not sure it's a good value.

Pop and pour. What I would consider a modern/extracted style wine. Inky and jammy, but largely indistinct. It is under $20.
