Love the chocolate/raspberry notes on the nose. Slight leather adds an earthy note. More body than I was expecting for a Rioja, but that might be the lush, balanced tannins whirling around. Surprisingly big, wild fruit and a soft, extended finish make this a real pleaser. I'd give it a few more point fractions if it had just a touch more complexity, but that is not to say this isn't a great one.

Aromas of tomato leaf, black cherry,
Dry. Flavors of red cherry, tomato leaf, clove, earthy. Rich tannins are partly smooth and partly firm. Great acidity. Very enjoyable.
