Produced by the Mauro winery in Castilla-León, a project of Mariano García, a winemaker known for being technical manager of Vega Sicilia for 30 years. A blend of Tempranillo with 5% Syrah and aged for 16 months in French oak. Ripe Berry fruits, powerful yet elegant, with spice & smoky notes on full, very tight, tannins. Lingering finish, nice mouthfeel, ending with mineral earthy tones, a joy to Sip!! Tasting great, has much more aging potential. Very Nice!

Fantastic! A spanish icon. To drink now, in 5, 10, 15 and 20 years. A wine from the Vega Sicilia winemaker for 30 years.

One of my favorite Spanish reds to celebrate a week of moving into the new casa. Cheers!

Beautiful Tempranillo blend. Not classified as a Ribera del Duero, but you sure had me fooled.

Well balanced intense blackcurrant fruit with subtle hints of dill and chalk.
