Bodegas Los Bermejos
Brut Nature Lanzarote Listan Negro Rosado
Phenomenal. This bottling needed time to come together. Liquid rocks, red fruit. Drinks like mineral rosé champagne with a volcanic signature. And seems to be improving with age.

Feb 22nd, 2022Nose is slightly smoky and ashy as well as tartly fruity; same bright, tart red fruit quickly followed by smoke and minerals on the palate. Better the second day; give this time to open.

May 3rd, 2018Ashy watermelon. Pretty interesting, but with a finish mustiness that detracted from its overall complexity.

Nov 23rd, 2016We chose Bermejos Rosato NV Brut Nature to go with our tapas and rotisserie chicken. Extremely fine brad due to no dosage, very pale "onion skin" color for a rosé, but palate was friendly with subtle fruit and that Canary volcanic salinity.

Aug 24th, 2016I expected this to be weirder and at $40 retail, to me it isn't worth the price. Crisp, peach skin and grapefruity aromas dominate, but it finishes short. A tasty picnic wine, if you don't mind overpaying.
