Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, spice and herb notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of oak and black pepper notes. Fine soft tannins, great balance with acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla, oak and slight earthy spice character.

Balanced but single note. Vibrant blue fruit up front. Limited depth and finish for a 9 year old wine.

I reckon I might have opened too soon, but it’s lovely the way it moves. Quiet like a stalking cat. It shifts from bright green hints of mint to the cardomom to the cinnamony-cuminy, all behind that stoic dried cherry & autumn earth smell. Big, but with a bright acid, I reckon this is a wine destined to overperform & get constantly overlooked. I fucking love it.
