Jumilla Monastrell

This wine pours a rust to blood red and is ruby red in the glass. It has particularly rich fruit including cherry candy, strawberries and maybe some kind of bourbon? Maybe that’s the acidity. It has a nice but not pronounced finish as some other reviewers have noted. I found it to be a unique taste, even among the Spanish wines I’ve had. Really appreciate this gift from my neighbor Phil. It went well with the grass-fed New York steak we paired it with.

Nice structure, sweet dark fruit

Deep, rich full flavor and a color to match. Smooth, velvet blackberry and a high acid (but not crazy) finish.

Fruity and deep, almost kind of “basic Spanish” but unfortunately not in Spain drinking in the warmth of Sevilla or some other exotic location. Brings good memories, can be versatile.

Charcoal on the nose. Dark berries with a hint of sweet need. Full, rich mouthfeel .

CAP media y lágrima densa. Untuoso. Frutas rojas. Algo amargo. Regaliz. No tiene la chispa del más joven pero es más largo y sedoso. Más redondo.

Good wine. Flavor and body is very nice.
