Good. A bit peppery shit. Hope it doesn't burn my ass. But it was yum.

Complexity on the nose develops as this one oxidizes. It's rises to the nose with fumes of burnt cherry wood, cocoa powder, vannilla bean, ending with a black fruit forward finish to the nose that turns into a cola(cherry cola) note as the wine ages out of the bottle. On the tounge it hits with heavy amounts of black cherries, black raspberries, blueberries with dusty tannins, medium acidity and a spicy finish that lingers. I liked this wine alot more 10 minutes out of the bottle. It became a little to intense in spice as it opened and lost its balance between flavors unfortunately. Still, a nice wine and very drinkable.

Rich yet restrained. Long, savoury finish.

On the nose this 2013 Monastrella red wine boosts of jammy red berries and anise. Liveli the palate with lots of red currant, red raspberry, currants and French oak. This wine is a intense dark purple and boosts a rich medium body with lots of structure and a smooth lingering finish. Enjoy !

If you find a case of this, buy it. Great dinner wine that snobs and newbies alike can enjoy -at a great price.
