Bodegas Juan Gil
Albacea Jumilla Monastrell
Pretty much love everything from the Gil Family. This Monastrell clocks in at $10 and worth it. Big ripe jelly jar fruit with a touch of that crimson brick flavor. Lip smacking fruit rounds out the finish, but short. This wine is uncomplicated and straight forward Monastrell made for when you just want a nice easy going glass of vino. Think of it as a baby Juan Gil. Definitely worth it to buy by the case and pop open for family & neighbors. Will it impress your wine snob friends? Probably not, but sometimes you just don't need to make an impression on anyone but yourself.
