Powerful wine made from Old Vine (100% Tempranillo) Grapes. Historic looking bottle. Dark ruby color (almost black) with a very slight garnet rim. Aromas of black berry/currant, dried fig, and tobacco with a distinct note of alcohol (blows off) right out of the bottle. Dark fruit on the palate with additional notes of baking spices, black licorice, black pepper and a large amount of graphite. A noticeable aftertaste of vanilla oak on the very long and persistent finish. Bone dry with mouth watering acidity. Old School.
