Intense aromas of barnyard, black olive, black cherry.
Dry, flavors of black cherry, oak spice, tomato leaf, black olive. Tannins are rich and smooth.

Incredible spice on the nose. White pepper, baking spice and hints of Chinese 5 spice and tarragon. Black fruit is there, but it’s almost between black and red. Black currant. Nice long finish. The big oak you would expect from A rioja gran reserva.
It’s lighter in colour and body than you may expect. Still has youthful acidity and substantial tannin. Prime is probably 5 years away and it could go for 10.
