Nice, smooth, and full bodied, pairs well with meats and cheese. Great tapas wine.

Incredible spice on the nose. White pepper, baking spice and hints of Chinese 5 spice and tarragon. Black fruit is there, but it’s almost between black and red. Black currant. Nice long finish. The big oak you would expect from A rioja gran reserva.

It’s lighter in colour and body than you may expect. Still has youthful acidity and substantial tannin. Prime is probably 5 years away and it could go for 10.

Brilliant balance of Oak and fruit. Notes of plums, mocha and dark cherrys. Great tannins and long lasting aftertaste of oak
